One of the internet’s main portals for news about poker, online poker – well, everything poker – has re-launched its website and the results look pretty good once you take a look. Of course, if you’re not into online poker websites or simply haven’t visited the World Poker Tour (WPT) website in its old incarnation, you might not be impressed. Even so, when you take a look at what online poker info is available, from tournaments around the world, information about famous poker players, and a lot more, the new-look website seems as welcoming upon your first visit as it does upon the fifth.

"The re-launch of our appealing and user friendly World Poker Tour site and store is only the first step in an aggressive overall internet strategy with more exciting new initiatives to be announced in the months to come," said Steve Lipscomb, CEO and founder of World Poker Tour Enterprises, Inc. (WPTE) "The internet is a key media for poker players worldwide and WPTE plans to leverage our brand and capture this market." There are many online poker informational websites out there, and were it not for the World Poker Tour’s re-launch of their website with a more updated, sophisticated look, they might have seen visits go down and thus people would miss out on all of the great poker info listed online at a great site.
