Many people worldwide gamble online on who is going to win, and also play online poker themselves. But what do we really know about this popular game? The name poker is probably originated in the French word "poque", which descended from the German "pochen" ("to knock"; also means "to brag" in Dutch). Soon after the spread, the full 52-card English deck was used. Many changes have been made since then, and the game of poker became an inseparable part of American culture. It even has its own jargon, many words from which had entered the everyday life.
